Zach and Adam live next door to Tim and I.  We've watched them grow up over the last 4 years.  They are adorable, rambunctious, boys.  And they are FAST!  I've never photographed such fast kids.  I had to keep changing my camera settings just to keep up with them.  Here are my favorites from our photo session last week. 

Minnehaha Falls is a great location year round.  Tim and I have shot an engagement session there midwinter beneath the frozen falls and this month I got to take the Dubay's Family portraits at the falls with the beautiful autumn colors as a background.  This is there second family session I've taken for them.  They are a great family and Ava is a very smart and inquizitive little girl.  I had alot of fun editing these and took some liberities with a few images.  Let me know what you think. I first met Denise at a prenatal yoga class at Drishti Yoga Studio. When we met, she was still waiting to meet little Max. Now he's weeks old and equally as adorable as his big sister, Sophie. While Max made us work for a smile, Sophie was a pro at having her photo taken. Here are my favorites from the session:

It was a lovely Sunday today and Tim and I had a wonderful shoot at the Crystal Lake Boat Launch. This family was great to work with. Karlee, the adorable 3 year old, was outgoing and not the least bit camera shy. Cam, on the other hand, was a bit serious and not too sure he wanted his photo taken. Andy and Katie were great with their kids. They kept them happy and cooperative by doling out Pez candy.

Spring is here! We have been having beautiful weather here in Minnesota lately. It makes shooting outside a treat! Last Saturday, Tim and I got to take family photos for Sheila. It was her 60th Birthday. Becca, her daughter arranged for the family to get together in honor of her mom's birthday--no small feat since some of the family lives in Canada! Becca did all of this with out her mom knowing! So when we showed up, Sheila got another surprise! Family portraits! They were such a fun group. Lots of joking and laughing. There was even some flashing--and I don't mean the kind that come from the camera. ;) Here's a sneak peek. Enjoy!








Thanks for a fun shoot.

Jen contacted me last week wanting to set up a portrait session. The photos are going to be a gift at her mother's big 60th surprise birthday party. What a fun family! There was this crazy yellow piano where we shot. Tim and I had a great time with this beautiful family. Here's a sneak peek...
