This is Ethan.  He is 6 months old.  His parents, Kelsey and Patrick, met me at Como Conservataory for a  photo session. His parents told me that he was not as smiley as usual but I think he did great. Going to the Conservatory is a great option for lush green photos during cold and bleak Minnesota weather.  We went in the Conservatory itself and then created an impromptu studio in the sunny atrium. We finished up with a few outside shots in the wintery weather.  I think we got a wonderful assortment of photos in just one hour.

I first met Denise at a prenatal yoga class at Drishti Yoga Studio. When we met, she was still waiting to meet little Max. Now he's weeks old and equally as adorable as his big sister, Sophie. While Max made us work for a smile, Sophie was a pro at having her photo taken. Here are my favorites from the session:

Tim and I got to photograph little baby Cora last week. She was only 2 weeks old and a very serious 2 week old at that. We enjoyed an evening with her and her proud parents Mike and Brianne.


She just needs to be close to her mom.


Marriage is a very serious thing.

Here are some photos from Anthony's one year session. He's the first baby to have gone through our "Baby's First Year" Package. In case you're curious as to what that is, or even if you're not, I'll tell you.

The Baby's First Year Package is a series of photo sessions that document your baby as it grows from birth to it's first birthday. We typically do newborn, six month, and one year sessions. Some parents have chosen to add a maternity session as well. It makes a great baby shower gift!


Anthony's parents chose Minneapolis as a backdrop for the session (a VERY popular place as of late). It was a fun shoot. Anthony took a bit of time to warm up to me again but he was very good. Here are some of my favorite images form the session:

It was so fun to watch him grow up over the last year and it went so fast! At this rate senior pictures and wedding photos are just around the corner!

Hello world, meet Allison Rose! Our good friends, Nick and Rose, had their beautiful little girl on October 26th at 4:06pm. Tim and I visited them a few days later and I quickly snapped a few photos while Tim made us all lunch.

Congrats Nick and Rose! And welcome little Allison!

Nick and Rose have recently returned to The Cities and Nick is establishing his Chiropractic practice. He does a heck of a job, so if your neck's got a crick, go talk to Nick. (that's not his motto, but rhyming is always fun)

This is my friend Chrissy. She let me take some maternity shots of her when she was 37 weeks. I loved playing with the light and shadows on her curvy figure.



Chrissy and I convinced father-to-be, Chris, to take part in the maternity shoot too!



Since this shoot, baby Emma was born, healthy and beautiful! Here she is at 2 days.

This baby Anthony. He is beautiful and really loved by his parents. They have a lovely home with great big windows. We slid the dining table out of the way and shot on the dining room floor! The light was great and Anthony is a natural model. I can't wait until his next session.
