Here is a sneak peek for Kev and Maggie. They are two of our good friends and they were married on March 14th (AKA Pi day). It was a great wedding with many personal touches...including lots of pies. Maggie was a breathtaking bride and made it easy for us take beautiful pictures.
The ceremony was held at the Historic Fort Snelling Chapel.
After the ceremony, the wedding party went to The Jungle Theater to take some fun photos. Maggie worked as a set carpenter for years, and we had fun shooting on stage with all the construction tools. Here is the first armed marital dispute (just kidding!).
After shooting at the theater, the wedding party went to the Loring Pasta Bar. We'd never been there before, but it was beautiful! The decor was interesting and classy, the food was great and the champagne rounded out the experience. Maggie and I stole away upstairs and got some great photos with the sun coming through the large picture windows.
The reception was at the Ukrainian Event Center. It was a perfect spring evening. Later in the evening the bride and groom celebrated in the time-honored fashion of smoking stogies.
The first dance.
Kev and his mom Kathy. She said that night that a life-goal had been fulfilled...both of her boys had rings on their fingers. It was Kev and Maggies' day, but I think Kathy was just as happy.
Kev and Maggie...Tim and I couldn't be happier for you two. Congratulations and enjoy your life together!
